Today’s Foodie Friday took me on a sweet tooth journey to the much hyped bakery franchise, Nothing Bundt Cakes. I’ve heard of the deliciousness of this place from my Mom in Texas and my bestie in Georgia but I had never had the chance to try it for myself.
I happened to see a fellow blogger share on instagram about her visit to the new Tampa, FL location. I decided right then that today would indeed be a cheat day. (don’t judge me)
The newly opened, Nothing Bundt Cakes Carrollwood location is celebrating their grand opening! The decor is super cute and bright, but that smell from the on site bakery in the bake is intoxicating.
Today’s samples were the red velvet flavor and their featured flavor of the month, mocha. By sample, I mean an entire slice of mocha cake with cream cheese icing. Yassssss!!
Yall this cake is so moist and soft and flavorful. It’s orgasmic. The hype is well deserved.
I’m actually trying very hard not to hold a personal grudge against my friends for not telling me there were locations in Orlando!! I suppose I can let it go now that we have our own location here in Tampa.
Flavors: red velvet, chocolate chip, lemon, white chocolate raspberry, marble, carrot, white white chocolate, cinnamon swirl, pecan praline
Icing: Cream Cheese (With the option to request a lighter drizzle version but that’s for suckers…don’t do it. Go big or go home!)
The coolest thing is the variety of bundt cake sizes. They have 10 inch, 8 inch, tiered Bundt cakes, mini individual Bundtlets, Bundtlet towers, and my favorite… the Bundtinis.
Bundtinis are little bite size Bundt Cakes! It’s perfect because you get this power pack of flavor and icing without pigging out by eating a whole damn cake.
After sampling the red velvet and mocha, I decided I would purchase some mocha Bundtinis because the mocha flavor was ending today. I also took home pecan praline Bundtlet. So far the mocha and the red velvet have been my favorite flavors but I can’t wait to work my way down the list.
A little birdie told me that next month’s new feature flavor will be strawberries and cream. OMG…
Check out some of their grand opening festivities:
- Today March 31, 20% of the profits were donated to the Joshua House. What an awesome way to make a debut in a new city! You know I love a brand with a heart.
- Saturday, April 1, 10am the first 50 customers get FREE BUNDLETS for a year!
- Saturday, April 1, 12pm – 2pm Cake-a-Palooza bundt cake samples
Nothing Bundt Cakes are nothing but ahhhmazing! They are foodie adventurer approved as a cheat day destination. I just might see you in the morning to be one of the first 50 customers!
Pssssst…..Here’s a secret. The next Bay area location will be Wesley Chapel!
Check out the website to place an order for delivery or pick up and sign up for the birthday club to get a free cake for your birthday.
