Brussels Sprouts, Diva Style
Brussels sprouts that taste good! This is not your grandma’s cabbage wannabe. If I can be reformed from my Brussel sprout hating days, then I’m sure with this recipe you can make a new little leafy green friend too.

Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Heat pan to med high.
  2. Add olive oil then and onions and peppers to hot olive oil for light sautee.
  3. Add halved Brussels sprouts to pan. Stir around with olive oil and onion and pepper, being sure to get a cood coating of olive oil on all the sprouts. You may need to add a little bit more oil.
  4. Add cooking wine. You can add a bit more than I’ve stated but be careful not to make it too soupy. You definitely want the entire bottom of the pan to be covered with liquid.
  5. Add all of your seasonings.
  6. Cover pan with fitting lid. Turn fire down to medium heat.
  7. Allow the Brussels sprouts to simmer for about 15 to minutes until tender but still bright green in color.
  8. Take your photos for Facebook and Pinterest before you dig in!
Recipe Notes

I wanted to keep this a relatively healthy dish. ¬†However, you could add a bit of bacon as a flavorful addition if you’ve got the calories to spare!
