An Underrated Paradise in the South – Exploring the Alabama Gulf Coast

Orange Beach

Last month I traveled to an underrated paradise in the south with 32 miles of white soft sandy beaches, clear waters, a booming foodie scene, and no shortage of entertainment and fun things to do. Where was this stateside gem? It was the Alabama Gulf Coast. I spent 3 days and 3 nights exploring the Alabama Gulf Coast and I’m so excited to share with you how this region won me over. It has its own personality completely different from the rest of the state. I found the beach towns of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach to be progressive, inclusive, welcoming and just down right charming. Read More »

First Time Visit to Cypress Cove Nude Resort

Cypress Cove Resort

Last month I embarked on an adventure that took me the farthest out of my comfort zone that I’ve ever been. When I say far, I mean uber far, like in another galaxy far. This is a sponsored post, however all opinions and views are my own. Full Disclosre.

I’ve been talking a lot this year about our National Parks since we are celebrating our National Park Service Centennial! I’ve talked to you before about how I use Groupon to save money on travel. Today I want to share with you how I plan to save on my next outdoor adventure with Groupon Goods . There’s even a whole section full of deals for outdoors items. Read More »

Florida National Parks Guide

Our National Parks turned 100 years old this year.   The parks are a national treasure that so many of us never get a chance to appreciate.  In fact, I didn’t visit my first national park site until I was 28 years old.  I visited Fort Matanzas with my son on a spring break trip to St. Augustine, Florida at the recommendation of a friend.  Read More »
